Pop singer Nicole Scherzinger hasn’t let her recent split with Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton bring her down and “definitely” wants a future which sees her getting married and having children. The 36-year-old singer though, doesn’t seem to be in a rush. “Settling down is definitely in the picture for me, but everything at the right time,” she was quoted as saying by Contactmusic website. Nicole also revealed that playing the role of Grizabella in ‘Cats’ in London’s West End has been a “cathartic” experience because of her connection to her feline alter-ego. Start afresh “I grew a lot as a person throughout. At times, I felt I was transforming into my character. The show is quite cathartic. It’s the story of a broken woman wanting forgiveness who needs a new start in life, then she ends up being the one chosen to be reborn again. Everyone goes through struggles. I’m sure a lot of people can relate to the song ‘Memory’, especially anyone who’s been broken and is longing to find happiness again,” she said about being part of the Andrew Lloyd Webber production. The American recording artist keen to branch out, said she was looking forward to doing a musical apart from acting in the movies. “I’d love to do a musical or comedy — I like to be a goofball. I’m a big fan of Judd Apatow’s movies.” Nicole recently unfollowed Hamilton on Twitter as people close to her feel it is not good for the two to remain friends. The singer and the Formula One ace ended their seven-year-old relationship last month.
